About The Role

This is a senior-level, creative-director-type role focused on video. You'll work from our existing visual brand and campaign briefs to produce:

  • Video — short-form promotional and social video, product explainers, ad creative, and motion content.
  • Design — ad graphics, social assets, display and paid-social creative, and content formats that we can iterate on quickly with performance data.
  • Campaign and program support — stand up and run promotional campaigns, content series, and advertising programs by generating and iterating on creative at volume.

You combine video marketing know-how with AI-powered creation to get campaigns and ad programs into the market quickly. Startup or high-growth experience is important — we move fast and priorities shift.

Compensation

Up to $150,000 max total engagement in Tier 1 cities (cash and equity mix to be negotiated). Rate or retainer based on scope and availability; we're open to equity for the right long-term fractional fit.

What Success Looks Like (First 30–60 Days)

  • Pre-launch GTM assets delivered, including video — key pre-launch GTM assets are in place; tools, programs, and AI solutions are defined and the team knows how we're producing and iterating.
  • Promotional programs live — several promotional programs are created and aligned to our goals; campaigns are structured so we can run and iterate.
  • AI-focused style guide — an AI-focused style guide is in place, based on our visual brand guidelines, so we can generate on-brand creative consistently.
  • Volume and iteration — multiple variants and iterations are shipping per week so we can learn from performance and double down on what works.

What You'll Do

  • Produce video and design at scale — create short-form video, motion assets, ad graphics, social assets, and display creative for promotional campaigns, social, and advertising; use AI as the primary engine and iterate quickly from briefs and performance signals.
  • Define and run AI production workflows — own which AI tools we use for video generation/editing, image creation, and design iteration so we can test more ideas and formats without linear cost.
  • Support campaign and program launches — work with GTM and marketing to stand up promotional campaigns, content programs, and ad initiatives; you're the go-to for fast, on-brand creative output.
  • Stay on-brand — work from our visual guidelines and AI-focused style guide so all assets align with our brand across channels.
  • Iterate with data — use performance data when available to refine creative, formats, and messaging.

What We're Looking For

Must-haves:

  • Already experimenting with AI across multiple tools — you've experimented with AI across video, image, and design tools and have strong, use-case-based opinions on which tools work best right now and why. You're already deep in the AI creative stack; we need you executing from day one.
  • Executor mindset — you're focused on output and iteration, not brand strategy; you thrive generating assets at volume.
  • Video marketing and production — you understand how video supports campaigns and performance goals; you've produced short-form video and motion for social, ads, or content programs.
  • Design and ad creative production — you've created ad graphics, social creative, and/or display assets for paid or organic campaigns and can work from brand guidelines and briefs.
  • Portfolio ready to share — examples of video and/or design work (including AI-assisted) that show speed, volume, and campaign or program support.
  • Startup or high-growth experience — you've worked in environments where speed and iteration are the norm and priorities shift.

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience with paid social or performance creative (Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.) and basic understanding of what performs.
  • Experience working fractional or project-based and documenting workflows so others can follow.
  • Comfort with basic analytics or reporting so you can tie creative changes to outcomes.

What This Role Is Not

  • Not a "learn AI on the job" role — you're already fluent in the AI creative stack.
  • Not a full-time, in-house hire (we're hiring fractional).
  • Not a copy or messaging lead — you'll partner with that function; your focus is video and design execution.
