The GTM engine is running. Leads are moving. We need another GTM Engineer to help us cover more ground before we launch publicly at the end of Q2.
Summary
- Flexible Title: Can tailor to reflect your skills & experience.
- Flexible Time: Can do full-time, part-time, side-gig (off-hours), or fractional (contract).
- Flexible Commitment: Can do short-term, long-term, or intermittent.
Why so flexible? We're a FUNDED startup racing to launch end of Q2 2026. That gives us just 3 months to stack features while raising additional working capital. Feel free to jump in, help us ship, then bounce >> or stick around. A successful launch translates into lots of permanent jobs for those that want them. We're also interested in long-term "side gig" relationships, if that's what you're into—in our experience, a few expert hours often beat full-time learning-curve hours.
About Us
We're a credible, funded, remote-first startup led by a serial technical founder, backed by a 20-person team. The product is live in private alpha. Learn more at list-lab.org.
About The Role
We have a GTM motion that's running—channels are live, systems are connected, playbooks exist. Now we need to expand capacity. This role is being added to the team so we can cover more ground, monitor more signals, and move leads through the funnel faster.
You'll work alongside a team of GTM Engineers and a GTM Architect in a hands-on execution role.
Think of yourself as the person who keeps the engine running and helps us bolt on new parts: building and maintaining workflows, watching the data, surfacing what's working and what's breaking, and routing leads where they need to go.
Right now this is a generalist seat—our GTM operation is still being defined, and we need someone who can flex across tools, channels, and tasks as priorities shift. Over time the role will sharpen as the operation matures.
You'll answer: Is this workflow actually running? What signals are we missing? Where are leads falling through the cracks? How do we get this data from point A to point B without manual steps?
Compensation
Up to $175,000 max total annual compensation in Tier 1 cities; cash and equity components to be negotiated (amount reflects combined cash and equity components).
What Success Looks Like in 30–60 Days
- You've reviewed our existing tech stack and identified areas of opportunity, strength, and growth
- You're operating inside the stack — workflows are familiar, you know what's running and where the gaps are
- Signal monitoring is in place: engagement data, inbound activity, and event triggers are being tracked and surfaced
- Leads are being routed correctly; lead-to-SQL handoff process is functioning and repeatable
- You've shipped at least one new workflow or automation that wasn't running before you joined
- You own a swim lane for several active campaigns — executing, monitoring, and iterating without hand-holding
- Signal coverage has expanded — you're catching things the team was previously missing
- You've documented what you've built so others on the team can operate or troubleshoot it
What You'll Do
- Build and maintain workflows across the GTM stack — connect enrichment, outreach, and CRM tools into automated sequences using n8n and similar platforms
- Monitor signals — track engagement data, event activity, inbound interest, and other intent signals; surface patterns and anomalies to the team
- Route and qualify leads — move leads through the funnel from raw signal to sales-qualified; build and refine the logic for when and how leads get handed off
- Support multi-channel operations — help execute across email, LinkedIn, and other channels as the team scales outbound
- Instrument and report — ensure workflows are measurable; contribute to dashboards and reporting so the team knows what's running, what's broken, and what's converting
- Iterate on what's working — run structured tests, tweak sequences, adjust targeting; improve performance based on data, not guesswork
What We're Looking For
Must-haves:
- Hands-on builder — you wire tools together, build automations, and fix what breaks; you don't wait for someone to hand you a spec
- Workflow automation experience — you've built multi-step automations in n8n, Make, Zapier, or similar platforms; you understand triggers, conditions, error handling, and data mapping
- Comfortable with AI tools — you've used LLMs (Claude, ChatGPT, Perplexity) in a work context — research, enrichment, copy, classification — and can integrate them into workflows
- Signal and data awareness — you pay attention to engagement metrics, conversion signals, and pipeline health; you know what "something looks off" feels like and you dig in
- Generalist mindset — you're comfortable moving between tools, channels, and task types as priorities shift; you don't need a narrow lane to be productive
- Fast learner — new tools and platforms don't slow you down; you figure things out by doing
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with our current stack: FullEnrich, n8n, Claude, Perplexity, PhantomBuster, LinkedIn Sales Navigator — though the stack will change and evolve, so what matters more is that you can pick up new tools fast
- Familiarity with lead scoring, intent data, or SQL-stage qualification logic
- Experience in a startup or small-team environment where you wore multiple hats
- Venture-backed startup experience
What You're NOT
- Not a strategist-only — this role is about doing the work, not designing decks or frameworks. The GTM Architect handles the big-picture system design; you help bring it to life.
- Not a manager — there's no team to lead. This is an individual contributor role focused on execution.
