We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Virtual Nurse Consultant to provide remote clinical guidance, patient education, and healthcare support. In this part-time role, you will leverage your clinical expertise to assist patients, support care coordination, and collaborate with healthcare teams—all within a virtual environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide remote nursing consultations via phone, video, or secure messaging platforms
• Assess patient symptoms, medical histories, and needs to offer appropriate guidance
• Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and preventive care
• Assist with care coordination, including referrals and follow-up recommendations
• Document patient interactions accurately in electronic health records (EHR)
• Support chronic disease management and wellness initiatives
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, privacy laws, and organizational policies
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals as needed

Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum of 1–3 years of clinical nursing experience (telehealth or case management preferred)
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
• Proficiency with telehealth platforms and electronic health records
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting
• Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality standards

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in telemedicine or virtual care environments
• Background in patient education, triage, or care coordination
• Multistate licensure (compact license preferred)
