As we expand our digital footprint, we are seeking a dedicated Remote Patient Access Representative to manage the critical first steps of the patient journey from a secure, remote environment.

Role Overview
This is a 100% remote position reporting to our Valley, Alabama headquarters. As a Remote Patient Access Representative, you are the digital face of our clinic. You will be responsible for high-volume virtual patient intake, insurance verification, and complex scheduling. This role requires a professional who is self-motivated, tech-savvy, and deeply committed to patient privacy and HIPAA standards.

Key Responsibilities
Virtual Patient Intake: Facilitate the remote check-in process, ensuring all patient demographics and insurance details are accurately captured in our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
Telehealth Scheduling: Manage incoming calls and digital requests to schedule both in-person and telehealth appointments for our providers.
Secure Data Management: Handle sensitive medical records and patient information with the highest level of discretion, strictly adhering to HIPAA regulations.
Insurance & Billing Coordination: Perform real-time insurance eligibility checks and assist patients in understanding their coverage or sliding-fee options virtually.
Communication Hub: Serve as a remote liaison between patients and clinical staff, routing urgent messages and prescription requests to the appropriate team members in Valley.

Qualifications
Experience: 1–3 years in a medical office, patient access, or healthcare call-center environment.
Remote Readiness: Must have a dedicated, private home office space and high-speed internet (min. 25 Mbps) to ensure secure, HIPAA-compliant video and voice calls.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with EHR platforms and Microsoft Office Suite. Previous experience with remote collaboration tools (Slack/Zoom) is a plus.
Soft Skills: Exceptional empathy and a calm, professional phone presence.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. and able to work shifts aligned with Central Time Zone business hours.
