Build What Matters, Simply and Efficiently
Agilious leads with a singular purpose - to empower organizations to build digital solutions that truly serve people by simplifying software delivery and eliminating waste. With over 20 years of experience in strategy, design, engineering, and data, our clients count on us not just to deliver technology, but to strengthen your teams with the skills, training, and strategy they need to create real, user-focused impact at scale.
About the Role
Agilious is seeking an experienced SAFe Agile Coach to join our Agile Consulting practice. Our Agile consultants work closely with our customers to support them throughout their project needs. Our goal is to help our clients deliver value quickly and delight their end users by enabling a healthy Agile mindset and practices.
The SAFe Agile Coach is a change agent and servant leader for one or more Portfolios which anchors on the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). In close collaboration with SAFe Release Train (ART)Engineers (RTEs), they coordinate with decision makers, teams, and other parts of the organization to optimize value delivery, address risks and impediments, and foster a culture of transparency and continuous improvement. They must be willing and able to courageously speak the truth, as well as tactfully challenge assumptions and decisions, including those from senior management.
The SAFe Agile coach should have a strong understanding of Lean-Agile concepts to train and guide RTEs and SAFe Scrum Masters in their roles. SAFe experience is a must, but optimal candidates will also bring with them significant experience in other areas, such as technology, as well as strong people skills. Experience with other scaling frameworks is also desirable. With their domain expertise, the SAFe Agile coach must balance teaching and mentoring with coaching and facilitation and know when it is most appropriate to apply each. Together with senior management, the SAFe Agile coach develops strategies to enable transformation or evolution within their domain. They apply their knowledge of common Agile and technical practices, and they also use their creativity and critical thinking skills to develop emerging practices to best optimize the system in which they work and help the customer and the delivery teams stay connected to the enterprise strategy.
