Agilious leads with a singular purpose - to empower organizations to build digital solutions that truly serve people by simplifying software delivery and eliminating waste. With over 20 years of experience in strategy, design, engineering, and data, our clients count on us not just to deliver technology, but to strengthen your teams with the skills, training, and strategy they need to create real, user-focused impact at scale.
About the Role
Agilious is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Release Train Engineer (RTE) to join our team. The RTE helps resolve and escalate impediments, manages risk, helps assure value delivery, and drives program-level continuous improvement. The RTE is accountable for the overall planning, coordination, execution, and delivery of value through the program.

- Resolve impediments and dependencies that hinder the progress of the ART, working collaboratively with teams and stakeholders to address issues effectively
- Coordinate and manage sprint activities, including sprint reviews, Scrum of Scrums / Coach Sync, and Product Owner (PO) sync meetings
- Provide detailed metrics and reporting, and Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) tracking, in addition to creating dashboards for improved transparency
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the ART, leveraging metrics, feedback, and retrospectives to identify opportunities for enhancement
- Coach teams on Agile and SAFe principles, practices, and tools, promoting a learning mindset and fostering a high-performance culture
- Coach and mentor team members, assist with onboarding, and identify knowledge gaps
- Implement and iterate on Agile engineering practices, DevOps principles, and Lean-Agile methodologies to optimize delivery efficiency and quality
- Communicate ART progress, dependencies, risks, and impediments to stakeholders at all levels, ensuring transparency and alignment with organizational goals
- Collaborate with Release Management, Program Management, and other stakeholders to manage cross-ART dependencies and ensure the successful delivery of integrated solutions
- Act as a bridge between business stakeholders, technical teams, and external partners, facilitating effective communication and alignment of priorities
- Drive the adoption of SAFe practices, principles, and frameworks across the organization, serving as a champion for Agile transformation
- Partner with Agile Coaches, Lean-Agile Leaders, and other RTEs to establish Agile Centers of Excellence (CoEs) and communities of practice, sharing knowledge and best practices
- Lead by example, embodying Agile values and principles, and inspiring teams to embrace change, experimentation, and continuous improvement
