American Waterworks, a leading provider of water treatment solutions, is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a Customer Service Representative, you will provide exceptional service to our customers, responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and providing support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat, ensuring timely and accurate resolution
- Resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and empathetic manner
- Provide product and service information to customers, addressing their needs and concerns
- Process payments, handle billing, and manage accounts, maintaining accurate records
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues, promoting a positive customer experience
- Meet performance metrics and quality standards, striving for excellence in customer service
- Maintain accurate records and documentation, ensuring data integrity
Required Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
- 1-2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a utility or related industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to interact with diverse customers
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software
- Knowledge of water industry or related field
- Certification as a Customer Service Representative (CSR) or Certified Customer Service Professional (CCSP)
Compensation and Benefits:
- The expected hourly rate for this position is $16-$22 per hour, depending on experience, which translates to an annual salary range of $33,280 - $45,760 per year
