What You Put In Is What You Get Out

This is not a job. It’s a stake.
A rare entrepreneurial opportunity to create something legendary from the ground up—and we want you in the room.

Minimum commitment: 20 hours/week. If that’s not realistic for you, this isn’t the right fit. No hard feelings—we respect clarity.

We are offering an equity partner role, not a traditional salaried position. That means:

Why Join Anime Universe?

At Anime Universe, we’re building a global entertainment-tech platform from the inside out. To do it right, we must unlock not only private capital—but institutional, government, and nonprofit collaboration that supports long-term innovation.

As our Nonprofit & Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Expert, you’ll help us design and execute partnership models that combine public sector alignment with private sector scale. You’ll help fund creativity, tech development, and IP growth—through structures most startups overlook.

Role Overview

You’ll lead the creation of nonprofit and PPP funding pathways for Anime Universe. That includes designing partnerships with museums, universities, cultural foundations, economic development bodies, and public-private innovation funds.

You’ll work across borders, policies, and sectors to activate funding we wouldn’t otherwise access.

What You’ll Own

Nonprofit Collaboration Design

  • Identify strategic nonprofit partners (universities, cultural organizations, innovation hubs)
  • Structure fiscal sponsorships, grant consortia, or co-venture agreements
  • Help AU position its R&D, creator education, and cultural infrastructure for nonprofit-eligible funding

Public-Private Partnership Structuring

  • Map potential PPPs related to education, youth engagement, tech access, or regional development
  • Draft joint proposals or funding models aligned with public goals and AU’s mission
  • Work with Legal to structure compliant, opportunity-rich partnership frameworks

Funding Strategy & Program Design

  • Align PPP and nonprofit efforts with AU’s long-term roadmap (IP licensing, platform expansion, global culture missions)
  • Identify multi-partner funding opportunities across regional, federal, and global levels
  • Support grant writers and fundraising teams with insight into PPP-specific language and requirements

Cross-Entity Integration

  • Collaborate with internal leads (Finance, Legal, Culture, Product) to integrate nonprofit and PPP efforts into strategic operations
  • Ensure nonprofit and public-funding contributions are tracked, governed, and compliant
  • Keep stakeholders aligned across all active partnership structures

What You Bring to the Table

Nonprofit & PPP Structuring Experience

  • 5+ years working in or with nonprofit organizations, foundations, or public-private initiatives
  • Experience designing funding structures involving multiple entities, missions, or compliance layers
  • Familiarity with fiscal sponsorships, hybrid corporate-nonprofit models, or innovation consortia

Strategic Design & Communication Skills

  • You can articulate the value of a PPP structure to a public agency and an investor—without losing either
  • You write clear MOUs, partnership briefs, and grant documents
  • You know how to frame AU’s mission to resonate with public-sector priorities

Cross-Sector Fluency

  • You understand the language, incentives, and friction points of both public and private sectors
  • You can build trust with nonprofit executives, funders, and regulators
  • You’re able to align timelines, priorities, and workflows across highly diverse stakeholders

Bonus Points For

  • Experience building nonprofit revenue models tied to tech, media, or education
  • Deep familiarity with Canadian and U.S. nonprofit laws and fiscal compliance
  • Past work with universities, international organizations, or municipal cultural programs
  • Participation in public innovation councils or creative sector roundtables
  • Background in international development or NGO project structuring

How We’ll Know You’re Crushing It

  • We’ve launched one or more nonprofit partnerships tied to core AU initiatives
  • We’re securing funding through PPPs that amplify our impact without dilution
  • Our nonprofit-facing programs are aligned, operational, and funder-ready
  • Internal teams are integrating nonprofit and public-sector opportunities into roadmaps
  • Anime Universe is recognized as a model for mission-driven, public-private innovation in entertainment and tech
