Description

As a Financial Analyst, you'll have an integral role in financial data analysis, developing forecasts, and providing actionable insights to guide strategic and operational decisions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams in finance, product, and engineering to optimise performance, improve profitability, and ensure financial integrity across the organisation.

Responsibilities

• Financial Analysis: Analyse financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to appraise company performance and pinpoint ways to optimise costs and increase revenues.
• Reporting & Dashboards: Develop and maintain financial models, reports, and dashboards using advanced Excel functions and visualisation tools such as Power BI. Present insights to stakeholders in a clear, compelling manner.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist the planning process through preparation of budgets, projections, and variance analyses to accurately track finances and support decision-making.
• Performance Indication: Monitor and report on key financial KPIs, operational efficiency, and profitability metrics that support executive decisions.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with finance, product, and engineering teams to evaluate financial implications of strategic initiatives and develop business cases.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for streamlining financial processes, improving data accuracy, and implementing best practices in financial reporting and analysis.
• Strategic Support: Provide financial insights and recommendations to leadership on strategic planning, investments, and growth initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience: 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or a related analytical role.
• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Excel (including advanced functions); experience with Power BI, PowerPoint, MS Visio, SAP, and Jira.
• Analytical Skills: Strong financial modeling and forecasting skills, with the ability to interpret and communicate highly complex data.
• Data Tools: Knowledge of SQL or other querying languages is a plus.
• Business Acumen: Utilize KPIs, budgets, and performance metrics to drive financial and operational improvements.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to present insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Work Style: Must be able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities with tight deadlines.
