Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design, development, and testing of robotic systems, mechanisms, and automation solutions.
  • Develop and maintain 3D CAD models and assemblies of robotic components using software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or CREO.
  • Support the integration of sensors, actuators, and controllers into robotic prototypes and production systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including mechanical, electrical, and software engineers—to ensure smooth integration of hardware and control systems.
  • Perform basic kinematic, dynamic, and control system analyses to support design decisions and motion planning.
  • Assist in prototype fabrication, assembly, wiring, and testing, documenting results and troubleshooting issues during development.
  • Participate in field tests or deployment activities, collecting data and optimizing system performance.
  • Evaluate and select appropriate components such as motors, drives, sensors, and controllers based on project requirements.
  • Maintain and update Bills of Materials (BoMs), design documentation, and project records in accordance with company standards.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of design and development practices, promoting innovation and efficiency across projects.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Robotics Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
  • 0–2 years of relevant experience in robotics or automation systems (internships, co-ops, or academic projects strongly preferred).
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD tools such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or CREO.
  • Fundamental understanding of robotics principles, including kinematics, dynamics, sensors, actuators, and control systems.
  • Basic knowledge of programming and simulation tools, such as MATLAB, Python, ROS (Robot Operating System), or Gazebo.
  • Familiarity with embedded systems, microcontrollers, or PLC-based control systems.
  • Strong technical communication and documentation skills, including the ability to prepare drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Eagerness to learn, innovate, and take initiative in solving complex engineering problems.
