BIM Modeler Position in Mumbai

Key Responsibilities

• Create detailed 3D models using BIM software, ensuring accuracy and quality in all deliverables.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to gather design inputs and integrate them into the model.
• Maintain and update models as project phases progress and requirements evolve.
• Conduct clash detection and resolve any conflicts in the 3D models before the construction phase.
• Prepare visualizations and presentations for project stakeholders, showcasing design intent.
• Assist in the development of BIM standards and procedures within the organization.
• Participate in project meetings to discuss model updates, project milestones, and client requirements.
• Support the training of junior modelers and ensure adherence to best practices in BIM processes.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in BIM technology to enhance workflow.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and safety standards in all modeling processes.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a BIM Modeler or in a similar role, ideally within the construction industry.
• Strong proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, or similar tools.
• Knowledge of building codes and regulations in India.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work within a team environment.
• Attention to detail and a strong sense of aesthetics in design.
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with 2D and 3D drafting techniques and tools.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
• Experience with project lifecycle management is a plus.
