We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate LPN for the Night Shift position at Center on Aging and Health. As an LPN, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our residents during the night hours. This position is vital to ensuring the well-being and comfort of our residents, making it a rewarding opportunity for those passionate about elderly care and nursing. You will be involved in various healthcare projects aimed at enhancing the quality of life for our residents and promoting their overall health and wellness.

As an LPN at Center on Aging and Health, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by delivering personalized care, administering medications, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to address the unique needs of each resident. Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care under the supervision of RNs or physicians.
  • Administer medications and treatments according to prescribed protocols.
  • Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of care plans.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care for residents.
  • Document patient interactions and care provided accurately.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards.
  • Respond to emergencies and provide immediate medical assistance as needed.

Requirements:

  • Associate degree in Nursing (ASN) or equivalent required.
  • LPN licensure in the state of Tennessee.
  • Prior experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Compassionate attitude and genuine interest in caring for the elderly.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

 

Our facility is conveniently located approximately 20 minutes from Johnson City, Tennessee, and 40 minutes from Asheville, North Carolina.
