Job Title: Scheduler

Location: New York (NY), Las Vegas (NV), Washington (WA) (Remote)

Duration: Long-term Contract (6+ months, with possible extension)

Work Hours: Full-time (40 hours/week)

 

Job Overview:

We are seeking experienced and detail-oriented Schedulers to support project planning and execution across multiple locations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and monitoring project schedules to ensure timely delivery and alignment with organizational goals. This role requires strong analytical skills, coordination with cross-functional teams, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

 

Job Description:

The Scheduler will play a critical role in project lifecycle management by creating and maintaining accurate schedules, tracking progress, and identifying potential delays. The candidate will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure schedules are realistic, updated, and aligned with project objectives. This position demands strong proficiency in scheduling tools and the ability to interpret project data effectively.

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules
  • Coordinate with project managers and stakeholders to define timelines and milestones
  • Monitor project progress and identify schedule variances or delays
  • Analyze critical path activities and recommend corrective actions
  • Prepare and present scheduling reports and status updates
  • Ensure alignment of schedules with project scope, budget, and resources
  • Support risk analysis and mitigation planning related to scheduling
  • Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with company standards
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure efficient project execution

 

Required Qualifications & Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field
  • Minimum 3–7 years of experience in project scheduling or project controls
  • Experience working on large-scale or multi-site projects preferred
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certification is a plus
  • Primavera P6 Certification or equivalent scheduling certification preferred

 

Skills Required:

  • Strong expertise in scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong understanding of project management principles
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
