About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and driven Business Development Executive (BDE) to join our growing sales team. This is not a traditional sales role — it’s about consulting, storytelling, relationship building, and being part of a team that empowers innovation.

You’ll work directly with startup founders, understand their product visions, and align them with the right tech roadmap and solutions from CloudTrains.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research and identify potential clients in India, the US, UK, and other target markets
  • Drive outbound sales via LinkedIn outreach, emails, and discovery calls
  • Understand client requirements in mobile app development, web platforms, SaaS, and custom software
  • Create and present tailored proposals, pricing models, and value pitches
  • Manage the full sales cycle: from lead qualification to negotiation and deal closure
  • Collaborate with the tech and delivery teams to ensure accurate project scoping
  • Maintain an organized pipeline and track lead status and follow-ups regularly
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets through consultative selling

Who You Are

  • 1–3 years of experience in IT services or tech-based solution selling
  • Strong understanding of the digital product development lifecycle
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English (written and verbal)
  • Confident in handling international clients and managing discovery/demo calls
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and excited to grow in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Familiarity with proposal tools, CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Zoho), and lead databases

Preferred Skills

  • Basic knowledge of Agile, product discovery, and estimation workflows
  • Understanding of startup pain points and fundraising stages is a plus
  • Prior experience in a startup or tech consulting environment
