Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Sales Development Representative. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving revenue growth. This role involves market research, sales strategy development, and collaboration with various teams to achieve business goals.
Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Business Research:
- Proactively identify and research potential clients in target industries using business intelligence tools (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator).
- Build and maintain a database of qualified leads and key decision-makers.
- Analyze client needs and pain points to tailor outreach and proposals.
- Track industry trends, competitor strategies, and emerging opportunities.
Sales Strategy & Client Engagement:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed revenue goals.
- Conduct impactful presentations and product/service demonstrations.
- Build long-term relationships with clients through consistent engagement and value delivery.
- Negotiate and close deals with a focus on win-win outcomes.
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts.
Market Intelligence & Strategic Input:
- Conduct regular market analysis to identify trends, threats, and white space opportunities.
- Collaborate with marketing to refine messaging and create targeted campaigns.
- Stay updated on industry innovations, client expectations, and competitor offerings.
- Provide feedback to product and service teams to align offerings with market demand.
Reporting & CRM Management:
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline status in a CRM system (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
- Generate weekly/monthly reports on KPIs, lead conversion, and revenue performance.
- Use data insights to optimize outreach strategies and improve conversion rates.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Representation:-
- Work closely with product, marketing, and delivery teams to ensure client satisfaction.
- Represent the company at industry events, webinars, and conferences to build brand visibility and network with potential clients.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven track record of success in business development or sales, preferably in the software and IT industry.
- Strong understanding of market research, sales strategies, and the digital landscape in software and technology.
- Excellent research and analytical skills, with the ability to gather, interpret, and act on market data.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of working independently as well as collaboratively.
- Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and business intelligence tools (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo).
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Willingness to travel as required for client meetings, events, and networking opportunities.
