Job Summary
Eagle Eye Express is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Delivery Driver to join our onsite logistics team in Oakley, California. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the safe, timely, and accurate delivery of packages to residential and commercial customers. You’ll represent the Eagle Eye Express brand through excellent service, professionalism, and attention to detail while ensuring that all deliveries meet company quality and safety standards.
This is a 100% onsite role requiring strong time management, communication, and customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities
Load, organize, and deliver packages on assigned routes within the Oakley area and surrounding regions
Verify delivery information for accuracy before departure
Operate company delivery vehicles safely and in compliance with traffic and safety laws
Provide friendly, professional customer interactions at each delivery location
Use route navigation and delivery apps to optimize route efficiency and accuracy
Handle packages carefully and follow all loading/unloading protocols
Communicate with dispatch about delivery progress, delays, or route adjustments
Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues promptly
Maintain accurate delivery logs, fuel reports, and documentation
Qualifications Required:
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid California driver’s license with a clean driving record
Minimum of 1 year of experience in delivery, courier, or driving-related position
Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 lbs throughout the workday
Excellent communication and time management skills
Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently
Familiarity with GPS navigation and route-tracking systems
Preferred:
Experience with major delivery services (Amazon, UPS, FedEx, USPS, DHL)
Knowledge of Oakley and surrounding Bay Area delivery routes
Basic mechanical understanding for routine vehicle inspections
CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) preferred but not required
