Edukyu Private Limited is looking for a motivated Business Development Executive to join our Sales department in Kolkata. This full-time, on-site position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and expansion of our services in the higher education sector.

As a Business Development Executive, you will play a crucial role in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building relationships with educational institutions, and promoting our innovative solutions. Your efforts will directly impact our mission to enhance academic excellence and accessibility in education.

We offer a competitive salary range of ₹2,000 - ₹30,000 monthly, along with a dynamic work environment that encourages professional growth and development in the education industry.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation & Management: Proactively reach out to leads via phone calls, emails, and WhatsApp to discuss their educational requirements and career goals.
  • Student Counseling & Admissions: Act as an academic counselor to guide students on course structures, fees, and learning outcomes, ultimately converting them into paid admissions.
  • Consultative Sales Approach: Understand the learner’s professional background and career aspirations to recommend suitable Undergraduate (UG) or Postgraduate (PG) programs.
  • Closing Sales & Achieving Targets: Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual enrolment targets by managing the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closure.
  • CRM & Data Management: Use CRM tools (like HubSpot or Salesforce) to maintain accurate records of calls, follow-ups, and prospective student details.
  • Relationship Management: Nurture relationships with potential learners throughout the decision-making process to build trust and ensure high enrollment conversion rates.
  • Market Research & Analysis: Monitor competitor activities, such as tuition fees and program offerings, to provide feedback to the sales and marketing teams.
  • Post-Sale Coordination: Assist with the initial onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition from applicant to student.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in business development or sales
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Familiarity with the higher education sector is a plus
