We are seeking a dynamic Operations Team Lead to join our team and drive operational efficiency across our logistics and supply chain processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor a team of operational staff, fostering a collaborative and performance-driven culture.
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and meet company standards.
- Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, performance metrics, and areas for improvement.
- Operational Management:
- Manage and streamline end-to-end logistics and supply chain processes, including freight forwarding, import/export operations, and customer delivery timelines.
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and company policies.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Performance Monitoring:
- Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas of improvement and drive operational excellence.
- Prepare detailed reports on operational activities, performance metrics, and process improvements.
- Customer Focus:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by maintaining efficient and reliable operations.
- Cross-Functional Coordination:
- Work closely with other departments such as Sales, Finance, and Customer Service to align operational activities with company objectives.
- Coordinate with external stakeholders, including suppliers, vendors, and regulatory bodies, to maintain smooth workflows.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 7-10 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, freight forwarding, or import/export industries, with at least 2 years in a team leadership role.
- Strong understanding of logistics operations, international trade regulations, and customs processes.
- Proven ability to lead and inspire teams, driving accountability and high performance.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with a results-driven approach.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and logistics management systems (LMS).
- Strong communication skills in written English.
