GEM Hospital is looking for a dedicated Front Office Executive to join our team in Chennai. This full-time, on-site position offers a fantastic opportunity to be the first point of contact for our patients and visitors, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience within our healthcare facility.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing the front office operations, contributing to the overall patient experience at GEM Hospital. You'll be responsible for coordinating appointments, handling inquiries, and supporting various administrative tasks that keep our hospital running smoothly. We offer a competitive salary range of ₹15,000 - ₹25,000 monthly, along with a supportive work environment focused on professional development and patient care excellence.

- Patient Interaction & Reception
- Greet and assist patients, visitors, and attendants politely.
- Provide information about hospital services, departments, and doctors.
- Appointments & Registration
- Handle patient registration and maintain accurate records in HIMS.
- Manage doctor appointments and confirm schedules.
- Communication Management
- Attend phone calls, respond to inquiries, and transfer calls appropriately.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, PRO, and other administrative staff for smooth communication.
- Admission & Discharge Support
- Guide patients through admission and discharge processes.
- Ensure necessary documents are collected and updated.
- Billing & Cash Handling
- Assist in billing-related queries.
- Handle cash/receipts and reconcile transactions.
- Customer Service & Issue Resolution
- Address patient concerns with empathy and escalate unresolved issues to the Manager.
- General Administration
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of reception and waiting areas.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and confidentiality norms.
