We are seeking a dedicated IT Help Specialist in Colorado Springs to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to staff by diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues.
  • Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems and applications.
  • Respond to user inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Document support requests and resolutions in a ticketing system.
  • Conduct training sessions for staff to enhance their tech skills and knowledge.
  • Proactively identify system issues and recommend solutions to improve performance.
  • Assist in maintaining the organization's IT inventory and asset management.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members on projects and system upgrades.
  • Stay updated with the latest technological developments to enhance skills and service delivery.
  • Ensure data and information security are upheld in all IT processes.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in a technical support or IT help desk role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems.
  • Experience with troubleshooting hardware and software problems.
  • Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Customer-service-oriented mindset with patience and attention to detail.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, ITIL) are a plus.
