Goat Yoga RVA at Pactamere Farm is excited to announce an opening for the Summer Farm Camp Director position in Glen Allen. This full-time, on-site role is perfect for those looking to engage with children and promote a love for nature, farming, and wellness through our unique camp programs.

As the Summer Farm Camp Director, you will play a vital role in developing and executing engaging camp activities that incorporate our farm's unique offerings, including goat yoga sessions. You will lead a team of enthusiastic counselors and ensure a safe, fun, and educational environment for all campers. This is an incredible opportunity to make a lasting impact in the community while enjoying the beautiful surroundings of Pactamere Farm. The hourly salary ranges from $20 to $25, depending on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee the summer camp curriculum and activities
• Manage daily camp operations and staff scheduling
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all campers
• Lead engaging farm-related educational programs
• Coordinate goat yoga sessions and other unique farm experiences
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians
• Monitor and evaluate camper progress and satisfaction
• Foster a positive and inclusive camp culture

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Passion for working with children and animals
• Strong organizational and leadership skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Experience in event planning or camp management is a plus
• First Aid and CPR certification preferred
• Flexible availability during the summer months
