Role: ICU, CSU & Dialysis Nursing Manager

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Sunnyvale is seeking an experienced Nursing Manager to lead our ICU/CSU units. This role provides clinical, operational, and people leadership to ensure high-quality patient care, staff engagement, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

-Lead and oversee ICU/CSU clinical operations, staff performance, and patient care delivery.
-Promote a culture of safety, service excellence, and collaboration aligned with hospital Mission, Vision, and Values.
-Manage staffing, scheduling, and resource utilization to ensure quality care and budget adherenceDrive patient flow, quality outcomes, and core measure compliance.
-Recruit, hire, onboard, and develop high-performing nursing teams.
-Coach, mentor, and hold staff accountable through performance management and engagement initiatives.
-Ensure compliance with CMS, Joint Commission, and evidence-based practice standards.
-Address employee and patient concerns promptly and professionally.
-Participate in hospital leadership meetings and committees as required.

Qualifications:

-BSN required; MSN preferred.
-Current RN license in the State of Texas.
-3–5 years of nursing leadership or supervisory experience in acute care.
-BLS and ACLS required.
-Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
-Experience with service excellence culture, staffing optimization, and budget management.
-Knowledge of regulatory standards (CMS, Joint Commission).
-Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office).
-ARDCS or CCI certification preferred.
-Bilingual skills preferred.
