Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct personalized counselling sessions to understand prospective students' goals and aspirations.
  • Provide accurate and comprehensive information about admission requirements, application processes, and program offerings.
  • Assist students in preparing their application materials, including essays and documentation.
  • Organize and participate in admission events, workshops, and open houses.
  • Maintain detailed records of student interactions and follow-up activities in the admissions database.
  • Work closely with marketing teams to develop outreach strategies and promotional materials.
  • Evaluate applications and provide recommendations based on established criteria.
  • Communicate with current students and alumni to share positive experiences and success stories.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and changes in educational policies affecting admissions.
  • Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and social media in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to facilitate smooth onboarding for newly admitted students.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance counselling skills.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Communication, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in admissions counselling or educational sales is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of the educational landscape in India.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on student engagement.
  • Ability to build rapport with students, families, and staff from diverse backgrounds.
  • Proficient in using customer relationship management (CRM) software.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach in addressing student needs.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Passion for education and a commitment to helping students succeed.
  • Fluency in English and Hindi; additional languages are a plus.
