Job Title: Procurement Specialist – Semiconductor Industry

Location: San Jose CA 

Duration: Full time with full benefits 

Work Type: Onsite
Pay Rate: $63,273 to $88,500

Role Responsibilities:

Process purchase requisitions, purchase change orders, and requests for quotes to suppliers.

Collaborate with requestors to determine lowest total procurement cost based on functional and delivery requirements.

Work with suppliers to resolve cost and performance variances.

Review purchase orders, receipts, and invoices, correcting discrepancies as needed.

Issue requests for quote (RFQs) from existing and new suppliers.

Generate purchase orders and ensure compliance with company policies.

Manage recurring supply and service purchase orders, including invoice reconciliation and approval.

Perform data entry and maintain purchase orders, vendor profiles, and other associated files and systems.

Analyze market trends and leverage insights to make effective buying decisions.

Manage multiple projects independently and collaboratively.

Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and suppliers.



Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.

Minimum of 5 years’ demonstrated experience in procurement or related functions.

Strong knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and cost analysis.

Proficiency with Oracle, MRP, Excel, MS Office, and PowerPoint.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Experience in the semiconductor industry preferred.
