We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Youth Pastor to join Houston Graduate School of Theology. As a Youth Pastor, you will play a vital role in guiding and mentoring the youth within our community, helping them grow spiritually and develop a strong foundation in their faith. This position is crucial in fostering a supportive and engaging environment for young individuals to explore their beliefs and values, making a lasting impact on their lives.
As a Youth Pastor at Houston Graduate School of Theology, you will be involved in organizing and leading various youth-focused programs, events, and activities. You will have the opportunity to create meaningful connections with young people, provide pastoral care, and facilitate discussions on relevant topics such as spirituality, ethics, and personal development. This role requires a deep understanding of youth ministry principles and a genuine desire to inspire and empower the next generation of leaders in our community.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging youth ministry programs and initiatives.
- Provide spiritual guidance and counseling to young individuals.
- Organize and lead youth group meetings, events, and retreats.
- Build positive relationships with youth and their families.
- Collaborate with church staff to integrate youth activities with overall church programs.
- Offer support and mentorship to youth volunteers and leaders.
- Facilitate discussions on relevant topics related to faith and personal growth.
- Participate in community outreach and service projects with youth members.
