ABOUT THE ROLE
On behalf of our client, a PSP global company with iGaming vertical, we are looking for an Account Manager for the Payment Solutions Team to be responsible in managing relationships with payment service providers (PSPs), acquirers, and other payment partners, ensuring operational stability and optimal commercial performance.
You will act as a key link between internal teams and external providers, owning day-to-day operations, monitoring performance, and driving continuous improvements in payment flows, costs, and reliability.
This role requires a hands-on, operationally strong professional who deeply understands reconciliation processes and is able to control and verify settlement flows, ensuring financial accuracy across all providers.
YOUR IMPACT
PSP Relationship & Commercial Management
- Communicate with PSPs, acquirers, and payment providers to negotiate and improve commercial terms (MDR, fees, settlement conditions)
- Maintain and develop strong working relationships with payment partners
Operational Management & Reconciliation
- Control reconciliation processes between the company and payment providers
- Monitor settlements, ensuring timely payouts and escalating delays when needed
- Verify settlement flows and ensure financial accuracy across all providers
Payment Performance Monitoring
- Monitor key payment metrics: approval rate, decline rate, routing performance, and transaction flow
- Work with internal teams to improve payment performance and conversion rates
- Identify trends and proactively flag issues that could impact business KPIs
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work closely with Business Development, Finance, Product, Legal, Compliance, and Integration teams
- Coordinate tasks related to PSP onboarding, issue resolution, and ongoing operations
- Act as the central point of contact for all PSP-related matters internally
Issue Resolution & Escalation
- Resolve operational issues related to payment processing in a timely manner
- Manage provider incidents from identification through to full resolution
- Escalate critical issues to relevant stakeholders with clear impact assessment
Onboarding & Technical Coordination
- Support onboarding of new payment providers end-to-end
- Work with technical teams on integrations including API flows, data requirements, and testing
YOU BRING
Experience
- Proven experience in payment processing (PSP, acquirer, fintech, iGaming, or similar environment)
- Experience working within high-risk industries such as iGaming, crypto, or forex
- Background in roles such as Payment Account Manager, PSP Relationship Manager, or Billing / Reconciliation Manager
Domain Knowledge
- Strong understanding of the payment ecosystem: PSPs, acquirers, payment institutions, and payment orchestrators
- Solid grasp of payment routing and orchestration principles
- Understanding of commercial structures including MDR, interchange, and fee models
Technical Skills
- Basic technical understanding of APIs and integration flows
- Experience working with BI tools (Tableau, Looker, or similar)
- Comfortable reading and interpreting reconciliation and settlement reports
