Head of Ad Monetization

On behalf of a global iGaming company, we are seeking a commercially driven and data-obsessed Head of Monetization to lead revenue strategy across their iGaming portfolio. This role will own the full player value lifecycle, from acquisition efficiency through retention, engagement, and lifetime value (LTV) optimization. You will work cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, CRM, Data, and Compliance to design, implement, and scale monetization strategies that drive sustainable growth.

Your Impact

Monetization Strategy & Leadership

  • Define and execute the company-wide monetization strategy aligned with business objectives and growth targets
  • Own revenue KPIs including ARPU, LTV, conversion rates, and player yield
  • Lead pricing, bonus strategy, promotions, and in-product monetization initiatives
  • Build and manage a high-performing monetization team (CRM, promotions, pricing, analytics)

Player Lifecycle Optimization

  • Optimize the entire player journey: acquisition → activation → retention → reactivation
  • Design segmentation frameworks (VIP, casual, high-risk, churn-prone) and tailored monetization approaches
  • Partner with CRM teams to deliver personalized campaigns across channels (email, push, SMS, in-app)

Data-Driven Decision Making

  • Leverage analytics to identify revenue opportunities and inefficiencies
  • Own A/B testing roadmap for promotions, offers, UX, and pricing models
  • Collaborate with Data teams to build dashboards and predictive models (churn, LTV forecasting)

Product & UX Monetization

  • Work closely with Product to embed monetization into user experience without harming retention
  • Optimize game lobby placement, cross-sell, upsell mechanics, and in-game incentives
  • Influence roadmap with revenue-driven insights

Bonus & Promotions Management

  • Design and optimize bonus structures (welcome offers, reloads, free spins, cashback)
  • Ensure promotional efficiency (bonus cost vs. incremental revenue)
  • Continuously test and refine promotional mechanics across markets

Market & Competitive Analysis

  • Monitor competitor strategies, market trends, and regulatory changes
  • Adapt monetization tactics to local market dynamics and player behavior
  • Identify new revenue streams (e.g., gamification, loyalty programs, partnerships)

Compliance & Responsible Gaming

  • Ensure all monetization strategies comply with regulatory frameworks
  • Work closely with Compliance to align with responsible gaming standards
  • Balance revenue growth with player protection and sustainability

You Bring

Experience

  • 8–12+ years in monetization, revenue optimization, or growth roles within iGaming, gaming, or similar digital industries
  • Proven track record of scaling revenue in a high-growth, data-driven environment
  • Deep understanding of player behavior, segmentation, and lifecycle management

Skills

  • Strong analytical mindset with hands-on experience in data-driven decision making
  • Expertise in CRM, promotions, pricing strategies, and A/B testing
  • Commercial acumen with the ability to balance short-term revenue and long-term player value
  • Leadership experience managing cross-functional teams

Tools & Knowledge

  • Experience with analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau, Looker, or similar)
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms and marketing automation tools
  • Strong understanding of iGaming products (casino, sportsbook, live casino)
