Job Overview

IIQAF Group is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Assistant to support financial and accounting operations within our Hospital and Health Care division in Sydney. The role involves assisting with accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and financial record maintenance, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies.

This position is ideal for candidates with experience in healthcare accounting, finance administration, or accounts support roles.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processing
• Prepare and maintain financial records, invoices, and expense reports
• Perform bank and account reconciliations
• Support monthly and year-end financial closing activities
• Maintain accurate data entry in accounting software and ERP systems
• Assist with payroll support and expense tracking when required
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, audit requirements, and confidentiality standards
• Liaise with internal departments and external vendors

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Accounts Assistant, Accounting Assistant, or Finance Assistant
• Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles and bookkeeping
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software
• High attention to detail and numerical accuracy
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a finance team

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in hospital, clinic, or healthcare accounting environments
• Familiarity with ERP systems or healthcare financial systems
• Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
• Previous experience working in Sydney or Australia-based organisations
