Responsibilities

  • Handle cash register operations including processing payments and managing transactions.

  • Maintain and reconcile cash drawers to ensure accuracy of financial transactions at the end of each shift.
  • Collect and record payment information accurately in compliance with hospital policies and procedures.

  • Collaborate with medical staff and other departments to ensure accurate billing for services rendered.
  • Ensure compliance with health care privacy regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience in a healthcare or retail environment is an asset.
  • Proficient in handling cash registers and processing various forms of payment.
  • Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial transactions.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact successfully with patients and team members.
