Job Overview

IIQAF Group is seeking a vigilant and safety-focused Fire Watcher in Dubai to support fire prevention and workplace safety within our healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will have experience in fire watch duties, safety monitoring, hazard identification, emergency response, hot work supervision, and HSE compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor designated areas during hot work activities such as welding, cutting, grinding, and maintenance work
• Identify potential fire hazards and take preventive measures
• Conduct routine inspections of work areas to ensure compliance with fire safety standards
• Maintain continuous surveillance of areas where fire risks are present
• Ensure fire extinguishers and emergency equipment are available and operational
• Report unsafe conditions, hazards, and incidents to supervisors immediately
• Assist in implementing health, safety, and fire prevention procedures
• Support emergency evacuation and incident response activities when required
• Maintain accurate fire watch logs, reports, and inspection records
• Ensure compliance with healthcare facility safety regulations and HSE standards

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in Fire Watch, Fire Safety, HSE, or Occupational Safety preferred
• Knowledge of fire prevention procedures and emergency response protocols
• Familiarity with hot work permits and safety requirements
• Strong observation and hazard identification skills
• Good communication and reporting abilities
• Ability to work shifts, weekends, and emergency schedules when required
• UAE experience in healthcare, construction, industrial, or facility management sectors preferred
