Job Overview

IIQAF Group is seeking a hardworking and reliable Kitchen Helper to support daily kitchen operations in our hospitality division in Dubai. The ideal candidate will assist chefs and kitchen staff with food preparation, cleaning, stock handling, and maintaining hygiene standards in a fast-paced restaurant or hotel environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist chefs with basic food preparation, chopping vegetables, and ingredient preparation
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations
• Wash dishes, cookware, and kitchen tools efficiently
• Support in receiving and storing food supplies and inventory
• Ensure compliance with food safety and HACCP hygiene standards
• Dispose of waste and maintain proper sanitation procedures
• Assist in organizing kitchen storage and stock rotation (FIFO method)
• Follow instructions from Head Chef and kitchen supervisors

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Kitchen Helper, Kitchen Assistant, or Restaurant Support Staff preferred
• Basic knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen operations
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment
• Physically fit and able to stand for long hours
• Team player with a positive attitude
• Understanding of UAE food safety regulations is an advantage

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Dubai hotels, restaurants, or catering companies
• Basic food handling certificate (preferred)
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
