We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Ticketing Agent to join our esteemed hospitality team. In this important role, you will be responsible for managing ticket sales and reservations for a variety of events and services offered by our organization. The ideal candidate should possess exceptional customer service skills and have a strong ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. As a Ticketing Agent, your primary responsibility will be to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for our guests from the moment they inquire about ticket availability to the completion of their transaction.

Responsibilities

  • Process ticket sales, reservations, cancellations, and exchanges promptly and accurately.
  • Assist customers with inquiries related to ticket availability, pricing, and schedules.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ticketing systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Resolve customer issues and complaints with professionalism and a solution-oriented approach.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth event or service execution.
  • Handle cash transactions, billing, and documentation in compliance with company standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of ticket sales and customer interactions.
  • Support promotional campaigns by providing information and upselling when appropriate.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in hospitality or customer service is a plus.
  • Proven experience in ticketing, customer service, or hospitality roles preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset.
  • Proficiency in ticketing software and reservation systems is desirable.
  • Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Basic numeracy skills and experience handling cash transactions.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
