We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Ticketing Agent to join our esteemed hospitality team. In this important role, you will be responsible for managing ticket sales and reservations for a variety of events and services offered by our organization. The ideal candidate should possess exceptional customer service skills and have a strong ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. As a Ticketing Agent, your primary responsibility will be to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for our guests from the moment they inquire about ticket availability to the completion of their transaction.
Responsibilities
- Process ticket sales, reservations, cancellations, and exchanges promptly and accurately.
- Assist customers with inquiries related to ticket availability, pricing, and schedules.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ticketing systems, policies, and procedures.
- Resolve customer issues and complaints with professionalism and a solution-oriented approach.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth event or service execution.
- Handle cash transactions, billing, and documentation in compliance with company standards.
- Maintain accurate records of ticket sales and customer interactions.
- Support promotional campaigns by providing information and upselling when appropriate.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in hospitality or customer service is a plus.
- Proven experience in ticketing, customer service, or hospitality roles preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset.
- Proficiency in ticketing software and reservation systems is desirable.
- Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and maintain attention to detail.
- Basic numeracy skills and experience handling cash transactions.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
