About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Web Developer with strong expertise in Laravel, PHP, MySQL, WordPress, and other PHP-related frameworks and tools. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust, scalable, and high-performance web applications and websites. You will also play a key role in mentoring junior developers, leading projects, and ensuring best practices in coding and architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize web applications using Laravel, PHP, and MySQL.
• Build and customize WordPress themes, plugins, and integrations.
• Architect, test, and deploy secure, scalable, and high-performing web solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, product, SEO, marketing) to deliver business requirements.
• Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and ensure best practices.
• Optimize application performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth deployments.
• Stay updated with the latest web technologies, frameworks, and security standards.
• Lead and mentor junior developers, providing technical guidance and support.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional web development experience with PHP and related technologies.
• Strong hands-on experience with Laravel framework.
• Solid understanding of MySQL (database design, optimization, complex queries).
• Proven experience in WordPress development (custom themes, plugins, APIs).
• Familiarity with JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, HTML5, CSS3.
• Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git).
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Good to Have (Optional)

• Knowledge of Vue.js/React or other modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Experience with server management (Linux, Apache/Nginx).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
