Job Nexus India is hiring for its client, Research Engine, for the role of Frontend Developer.

This role is designed for candidates who are passionate about building scalable, high-performance, and user-centric interfaces across web and future mobile platforms.

You will work closely with product, backend, and design teams to deliver seamless digital experiences.

Role Overview

As a Frontend Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining scalable frontend applications using modern frameworks like ReactJS.

You will contribute to building a strong component architecture, optimize performance, and help scale applications to support growing user bases.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable frontend applications using ReactJS
• Translate UI/UX designs into clean, reusable, and maintainable code
• Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs (Node.js & Express)
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsive design
• Optimize application performance for speed and scalability
• Implement state management solutions (Redux / Context API)
• Build reusable components and maintain structured architecture
• Implement proper error handling and API failure recovery
• Collaborate with backend teams on API contracts and data flow
• Write unit, integration, and E2E test cases (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress)
• Follow Git-based version control and CI/CD best practices
• Participate in code reviews and improve engineering standards
• Ensure security best practices (XSS protection, input validation, token handling)
• Contribute to frontend architecture for long-term scalability

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with ReactJS and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
• Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design
• Experience integrating REST APIs and working with async programming
• Knowledge of state management libraries (Redux or similar)
• Familiarity with reusable UI component systems
• Understanding of authentication flows (JWT, OAuth basics)
• Experience with Git and collaborative workflows
• Exposure to unit and integration testing
• Basic understanding of backend technologies (Node.js, Express, PostgreSQL is a plus)
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment
