Job Summary
We are seeking an AI Product Manager with strong experience in startup and rapid-development environments to lead the development of an AI-powered software testing solution from concept to product–market fit. This individual will drive discovery, experimentation, and iterative delivery, leveraging customer feedback, market learning, and data to refine product direction quickly. The ideal candidate combines an entrepreneurial mindset, AI product experience, is obsessed with learning and iterating fast, and has the ability to navigate nuanced and evolving environments while executing with speed. Your mission is to help us achieve product–market fit and define a new category of software testing solution, built from the ground up with Agentic AI and aligned with the emerging AI-driven SDLC.
Responsibilities include:
- Own the 0→1 product journey for an Agentic AI-powered software testing solution, from concept through product–market fit.
- Own the first principles: define the core customer problem, the “must-win” workflow, and the non-negotiable product bets we’ll validate fast.
- Lead discovery end-to-end: identify target users and jobs-to-be-done, map workflows, validate pain points, and prioritize the highest-leverage opportunities.
- Run rapid experimentation loops (prototypes, MVPs, feature tests, A/B testing), instrument results, and translate learnings into product decisions fast.
- Bias toward prototypes and experiments over debates, test assumptions with real users and real usage as early as possible.
- Partner tightly with engineering, design, and AI/ML teams to ship high-quality capabilities at speed, balancing iteration with reliability and trust.
- Shape the Agentic AI experience: define agent behaviors, workflows, guardrails, evaluation criteria, and human-in-the-loop interactions to ensure safety, usefulness, and adoption.
- Create lightweight, execution-ready product specs (whiteboard diagrams, user stories, acceptance criteria) that keep teams moving fast, clarifying “what/why” without slowing delivery.
- Run tight iteration cycles: define smallest testable increments, ship frequently, measure impact, and adjust within days, not months.
- Establish success metrics (activation, retention, task completion, time-to-value, accuracy/quality, cost), and use data to guide prioritization and iteration.
- Keep a tight customer feedback loop by talking to users every day, shipping into MVPs early, and digging into behavior data to guide next moves fast.
- Monitor competition and category trends across AI-SDLC, testing, DevOps, and agentic workflows; convert insights into differentiated product bets.
- Coordinate go-to-market readiness with marketing, sales, and customer-facing teams: positioning, messaging, onboarding flows, and launch plans.
- Build internal alignment fast: keep stakeholders synced with short updates, clear decisions, and transparent tradeoffs, no long decks required.
- Champion a “move fast, learn faster” culture: challenge assumptions, unblock teams, make tradeoffs, and keep momentum through shifting priorities.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of product management experience, including 0→1 product development (ideally taking a new product to PMF or clear traction).
- Proven experience in startup or high-velocity environments. Comfortable with ambiguity, shifting priorities, and aggressive shipping cadence.
- Strong track record running customer discovery and continuous feedback loops (daily/weekly cadence), translating insights into shipped outcomes.
- Hands-on experience driving rapid experimentation (MVPs, prototypes, A/B tests) and making decisions based on data + qualitative signals.
- Comfort with ambiguity: Thrives with incomplete information, conflicting inputs, and changing priorities, can find signal fast and act decisively.
- AI fluency (practical, not theoretical): Hands-on experience building products that use LLMs/agents.
- Strong communication and influence skills, able to drive alignment quickly with clear async updates, crisp tradeoffs, and direct decision-making.
- Cross-functional leadership: Ability to align engineering, design, and ML around priorities, sequencing, and tradeoffs, keeps teams focused and unblocked.
- Experience supporting go-to-market with sales/marketing/customer teams: positioning, onboarding, launches, and learning from the field.
- Comfortable partnering deeply with engineering, design, and AI/ML, able to balance speed with reliability, trust, and product quality.
- Strong analytical skills: ability to define and use metrics like activation, retention, task success, time-to-value, quality/accuracy, and cost to guide prioritization.
Nice to have:
- Prior experience as a founder, early startup employee, or owning a product line with meaningful business responsibility.
- Background in software testing, QA, DevTools, DevOps, or AI-DLC workflows.
