Position: Independently Working Chef — Duties and Responsibilities
- Independently working chef
- Employment type: Full-time / 38 hours per week
- Salary indication: €2,500 – €3,250 gross per month, excluding holiday pay
- Employment conditions in accordance with the Hospitality Sector Collective Labour Agreement (Horeca CAO)
- Carrying out preparatory tasks such as washing, cutting, (pre-)cooking, mixing, stirring, etc.
- Assessing the quality of products/ingredients (freshness, shelf life, etc.) and preparing tools
- Executing preparations while monitoring and adjusting quality, doneness, taste, colour, consistency, etc. as needed
- Preparing orders for service/dispatch
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations, occupational health and safety rules (Arbo), HACCP, and working and presentation methods
We are looking for someone who
- Has demonstrable knowledge of basic kitchen techniques
- Can work independently and in a structured manner
- Is communicatively proficient in Dutch or English
- Is willing to undergo internal training if necessary
