Job Title: Data Center Operations Intern
Location: Panvel (On-site)
Duration: 3 Months Internship
About the Role
We are looking for a Data Center Hardware Intern to support our team in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting server hardware and related infrastructure in our Panvel data center. This role is ideal for candidates who want hands-on exposure to Linux servers, RAID, and data center operations.
Key Responsibilities
●​ Assist in installation and basic configuration of Linux-based servers under
supervision.
●​ Support the team in configuring and verifying RAID levels (RAID 0, 1, 5, and 10) for performance and redundancy.
●​ Help in server hardware replacement activities including disks, memory, power supplies, and other components.
●​ Assist in mounting and un-mounting servers in racks as per data center standards.
●​ Perform initial checks, report hardware issues, and support troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
●​ Coordinate with system administrators and network teams for routine operational tasks.
●​ Maintain basic documentation of hardware changes and daily activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
●​ Pursuing or recently completed Diploma / BE / BTech in Electronics, Computer Engineering, IT, or related field.
●​ Basic understanding of server hardware and Linux operating systems.
●​ Familiarity (even theoretical) with RAID concepts (RAID 0, 1, 5, 10) preferred.
●​ Willingness to work in a data center environment and perform physical tasks like rack mounting.
●​ Good communication skills and ability to follow standard operating procedures.
●​ Eagerness to learn, high attention to detail, and ability to work in a team.
Internship Details
●​ Duration: 3 months (full-time, on-site at Panvel data center).
●​ Stipend: 15k
