About the Role
If you have been thinking - I want to work in tech, but coding all day is not exactly my vibe - this role was built for you. As a Pre-Sales Trainee at Leapswitch, you will sit right at the intersection of technology and people: talking to real businesses, understanding their challenges, and presenting cloud solutions that genuinely help them.
You will work closely with our Sales and Technical teams, getting hands-on exposure to products like CloudJiffy, CloudPe.com, and Bare-Metal Servers. No prior experience required, just curiosity and a willingness to grow fast.
What You'll Do
- Join customer discovery calls to understand what problems businesses are trying to solve.
- Learn to present and demo our cloud products - CloudJiffy, CloudPe.com, and Bare-Metal Servers - in a way that clicks for non-technical buyers.
- Help build customised proposals, solution documents, and cost estimates tailored to each client.
- Support the team in preparing RFPs and RFI responses - you will learn the full pre-sales cycle.
- Coordinate with internal tech teams to get customer queries resolved quickly.
- Assist in proof-of-concept activities, guided by senior team members.
- Stay updated on trends in cloud computing, hosting, and virtualization.
Who We're Looking For
You do not need to check every box - but here is what will help:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field (final year students may also apply).
- Freshers welcome - internship or trainee experience in sales, tech support, or cloud is a bonus, not a must.
- Basic awareness of cloud concepts, servers, or networking - even if self-taught.
- Good communication skills - written and verbal.
- Curious, proactive, and comfortable (or excited to become) in a customer-facing role.
Good to Have
- Basic knowledge of Linux, Windows Server, or any cloud platform (AWS, GCP, Azure - even beginner-level counts).
- Interest in solution selling, customer interaction, and technical consulting.
- Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for a non-technical audience.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving attitude.
Probation & Growth Path
The role begins with a 6-month probation period. We will evaluate your growth, communication, and role suitability. Perform well and you are confirmed - with a clear path forward.
Trainee -> Pre-Sales Associate -> Senior Pre-Sales
