Electrical Estimator – Commercial & Industrial (IntelliBid Required)

Location: Dallas–Fort Worth Metro
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $70,000 – $125,000 per year (DOE)

Job Description

We are partnering with a well-established electrical contractor in the Dallas–Fort Worth area to identify an experienced Electrical Estimator with a strong background in commercial and industrial projects. This role requires hands-on estimating experience using Conest IntelliBid and a solid understanding of electrical systems, codes, and project execution.

This is an excellent opportunity for an estimator who wants to work on complex, high-value projects with a reputable contractor offering long-term stability.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and competitive electrical estimates for commercial and industrial construction projects
• Use Conest IntelliBid to perform takeoffs, pricing, and bid preparation
• Review drawings, specifications, and project documentation
• Collaborate with project managers, operations, and vendors during the bid process
• Maintain and update IntelliBid databases, assemblies, and pricing
• Analyze labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor costs
• Participate in bid reviews, value engineering, and post-bid clarifications

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as an Electrical Estimator
• Commercial and industrial estimating experience required
• Hands-on experience with Conest IntelliBid (required)
• Active electrical license (Journeyman or Master preferred – Texas or transferable)
• Strong knowledge of NEC codes and electrical systems
• Ability to read and interpret electrical plans and specifications

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of electrical estimating experience
• Background working for an electrical contractor
• Experience estimating large-scale or fast-paced bid environments

Compensation & Benefits

• $70,000 – $125,000 base salary, depending on experience
