Electrical Estimator – Commercial & Industrial (IntelliBid Required)
Location: Dallas–Fort Worth Metro

Job Description
We are partnering with a well-established electrical contractor in the Dallas–Fort Worth area to identify an experienced Electrical Estimator with a strong background in commercial and industrial projects. This role requires hands-on estimating experience using Conest IntelliBid and a solid understanding of electrical systems, codes, and project execution.
This is an excellent opportunity for an estimator who wants to work on complex, high-value projects with a reputable contractor offering long-term stability.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and competitive electrical estimates for commercial and industrial construction projects
- Use Conest IntelliBid to perform takeoffs, pricing, and bid preparation
- Review drawings, specifications, and project documentation
- Collaborate with project managers, operations, and vendors during the bid process
- Maintain and update IntelliBid databases, assemblies, and pricing
- Analyze labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor costs
- Participate in bid reviews, value engineering, and post-bid clarifications
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as an Electrical Estimator
- Commercial and industrial estimating experience required
- Hands-on experience with Conest IntelliBid (required)
- Active electrical license (Journeyman or Master preferred – Texas or transferable)
- Strong knowledge of NEC codes and electrical systems
- Ability to read and interpret electrical plans and specifications
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of electrical estimating experience
- Background working for an electrical contractor
- Experience estimating large-scale or fast-paced bid environments
Compensation & Benefits
- $70,000 – $125,000 base salary, depending on experience
