Detailed Job Description:
Experience with API gateways and API management platforms (e.g., Azure API Management), including authentication, authorization, routing, throttling, and policy-based controls.
Demonstrated expertise in API design, design patterns, development, and lifecycle management, including REST, GraphQL, or event-driven architectures, with a focus on scalability, reliability, and developer usability.
Experience with API security standards (OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, scopes/claims, token flows, and common authorization patterns).
Experience operating APIs in cloud environments (preferably Azure), including observability practices such as Application Insights or Open Telemetry.
Technology fundamentals, design, problem solving, and complexity analysis.
Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and product management to understand requirements, describe software product features, and technical designs.
Delivery experience working under an Agile/Scrum methodology.
Working experience of software engineering best practices including coding standards, change management, manage incidents, CI/CD, Automated testing, cloud native development build processes, testing, and operations.
