This role offers the opportunity to work within a highly secure, large-scale environment focused on endpoint platform stability and performance. You will play a key role in supporting and maintaining thin client and Linux-based endpoint systems within a critical enterprise platform.
Position Overview
The Endpoint Platform Engineer will support a critical endpoint environment, with a focus on IGEL thin clients, Linux-based endpoint systems, and Workspace ONE (Omnissa).
This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer with experience supporting endpoint platforms in enterprise environments, particularly those involving thin clients and non-Windows operating systems. The engineer will help stabilize, maintain, and support ongoing platform evolution across the environment.
Key Responsibilities
Support Linux-based endpoint environments, including thin client operating systems
Manage and troubleshoot IGEL thin client platforms at enterprise scale
Support Workspace ONE (Omnissa) for endpoint management and policy enforcement
Troubleshoot OS-level, endpoint, and configuration-related issues
Troubleshoot hardware issues across laptops, desktops, thin clients, and peripherals, including firmware-level diagnostics
Assist with platform rollout, upgrades, and environment stabilization efforts
Document platform standards, configurations, and operational procedures
Collaborate with EUC, security, and infrastructure teams to resolve issues and maintain platform performance
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience supporting endpoint or desktop environments in enterprise settings
Hands-on experience with IGEL or similar thin client platforms
Working knowledge of Linux (endpoint-level, not server-heavy administration)
Strong hardware troubleshooting experience across enterprise endpoint devices (laptops, desktops, thin clients)
Experience with Workspace ONE / AirWatch (Omnissa) or similar MDM platforms
Strong troubleshooting skills across endpoint and OS-level issues
Experience working in fast-paced, large-scale environments
