We are looking for a Guidewire Configuration Lead Developer to support and stabilize production environments for Guidewire applications, primarily PolicyCenter. This role is configuration-heavy and focused on production support, troubleshooting, and application stability. Candidates with prior incident management experience are preferred; however, strong Guidewire configuration leads without incident management exposure will be trained on incident management processes.

 Responsibilities:

Production Support & Incident Handling:

Provide L2/L3 production support for Guidewire applications.

Troubleshoot and resolve P1/P2/P3 incidents related to Guidewire configuration.

Act as a technical lead during major incidents and support bridge calls.

Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement permanent fixes.

Ensure application stability and SLA adherence.

Support release deployments, cutover, and hypercare.

 

Guidewire Configuration & Technical Leadership

Lead Guidewire configuration activities, including:

PCF (UI configuration)

Product Model (LOBs, coverages, offerings)

Business and validation rules

Rating configuration

Batch job troubleshooting

Analyze logs, batch failures, and integration errors.

Provide guidance and review work of junior configuration developers.

Support integrations (SOAP/REST, messaging) as part of production issue resolution.

 Mandatory Skills & Experience

Strong hands-on experience as a Guidewire Configuration Developer / Lead.

Deep experience in PolicyCenter configuration (PCF, product model, rules, rating).

Experience supporting production or post–go-live environments.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work in on-call / support rotations.

Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
