Job title: Insurance Coverage Attorney (Hybrid)

Location:Austin, TX

Salary:$130,000 - $180,000/year

What you will be doing:

• Join a national and international insurance coverage practice.
• Collaborate globally while being based in Austin.
• Handle diverse coverage cases such as excess and surplus lines, general liability, construction defect, D&O, environmental, personal, and advertising injury claims in Texas.
• Analyze coverage issues and draft coverage opinions, pleadings, and dispositive motions.
• Conduct discovery in insurance coverage litigation.
• Engage in tasks such as taking and defending depositions, attending court conferences, or arguing motions (helpful but not required).
• Participate in significant business development training.
• Work with dedicated associate and partner mentors.
• Engage with a firm-wide associate committee to liaise with partners.

Experience you will need:

• 3–8 years of relevant and diverse coverage experience.
• Strong litigation background.
• Experience in analyzing coverage issues and drafting related documents.
• Admitted and in good standing in Texas.
• Additional admissions in other states are a plus.
