The Role
Our client, a respected law firm in West Palm Beach, FL, is seeking an experienced Litigation
Legal Assistant to support attorneys and paralegals with day-to-day litigation matters. This
is a fully onsite role requiring prior hands-on litigation support experience in a law firm
environment.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, draft, and electronically file court documents, pleadings, and motions
Draft correspondence, memos, and routine litigation-related documents
Organize case files and track litigation deadlines and calendars
Coordinate scheduling, calls, and meetings for attorneys
Communicate professionally with court staff, clients, and internal legal teams
Maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive information
Transcribe dictation and manage incoming and outgoing mail
Track reimbursements and submit payment or expense requests
What You Bring
Minimum 3 years of experience supporting litigation attorneys in a law firm setting
Working knowledge of court procedures, e-filing systems, and litigation documents
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office
Exposure to legal technology tools such as iManage, InTapp, LMS+, or similar systems
Ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet tight deadlines
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Must-Haves (Required to Submit)
3+ years direct litigation legal assistant experience
Experience with court filings, pleadings, and litigation documentation
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Local to or able to commute daily to West Palm Beach, FL

Experience tracking litigation deadlines and managing legal calendars
Dictation transcription and legal correspondence preparation experience
Legal coursework, certification, or paralegal training
