Job title: Patent Prosecution - Patent Agent ( partial Remote)

Location:San Diego, CA

Salary:$130,000 - $200,000/year

What You Will Be Doing

• Review invention disclosures & meet inventors
• Conduct prior art searches & patentability analysis
• Draft patent applications
• Handle USPTO office actions & responses
• Conduct examiner interviews
• Manage US & international patent dockets
• Perform due diligence & FTO analysis
• Collaborate with attorneys, agents & clients

Experience You Will Need

• 1+ year patent prosecution experience
• USPTO registered (mandatory)
• Technical background in:
  • Computer Science
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Chemical Engineering
• Exposure to:
  • Software / AI
  • Hardware / devices
  • Wireless / signal processing
• Law firm experience preferred
• Strong writing, communication & organization skills

Nice-to-Have:

• Law firm background
• Experience with AI / software / wireless tech
• Examiner interview experience
• FTO / due diligence exposure
• International docket management
