Job Title: Senior PeopleSoft HCM Functional Consultant – Absence Management (AM) & Time and Labor (T&L)
Location: Mineola NY Onsite
 
We are seeking a seasoned PeopleSoft HCM consultant with deep expertise in Absence Management (AM) and Time & Labor (T&L) to lead end‑to‑end implementations, upgrades (9.1 → 9.2), complex configuration, and AM/TL/Payroll integration. The ideal candidate combines strong functional leadership with hands‑on configuration and the ability to partner with technical teams to deliver scalable, compliant, and user‑friendly solutions across unionized and non‑union employee populations.
 
Required Qualifications
 

  • 10+ years PeopleSoft HCM with 7+ years focused on Absence Management and Time & Labor.
     
  • Demonstrated success on PeopleSoft 9.2 implementations/upgrades (including 9.1 → 9.2).
     
  • Proven experience configuring 1,000+ AM elements and designing unionized leave plans using table/bracket‑driven logic.
     
  • Hands‑on AM/TL/Payroll integration design and issue resolution.
     
  • Strong documentation skills (fit–gap, config specs, test scripts, cutover/go‑live).
     
  • Excellent stakeholder facilitation and communication; comfortable leading CRP and training sessions.
     

 
Key Responsibilities
 

  • Lead fit–gap analysis for PeopleSoft HCM (AM/TL) upgrades and implementations; author BRDs, FDDs, and configuration design docs.
     
  • Configure Absence Management at scale (Entitlements, Takes, Formulas, Arrays, Brackets, Triggers, Forecasting), including table‑driven complex leave plans (sick, vacation, personal, comp time, floaters, lieu banks).
     
  • Design and configure Time & Labor rules, timesheet customizations, and TL/AM/Payroll integration touchpoints.
