Student Age Group: Grades 7-8

Case Load: Up to 15 kids

Responsibilities: Special Education Teacher

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with disabilities.
• Assess students' needs and design lesson plans accordingly.
• Collaborate with other educators, parents, and community resources to ensure comprehensive support for each student.
• Track and report students' progress.
• Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of each student.

 Qualifications: SpEd Teacher

• Teaching and instruction skills as a Special Education Teacher for grades 7-8.
• Strong communication skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a passion for inclusive education.
• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field preferred.
• Must have all the relevant certifications to teach grades 7-8 as a Special Education Teacher.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators and support staff.
