Responsibilities
Provide hands-on engineering support for enterprise campus and data center networks, including lifecycle refreshes, infrastructure upgrades, and new site or office builds.
Design, implement, and troubleshoot routing and switching solutions in Cisco-based environments.
Support and maintain wireless networking solutions, including troubleshooting complex connectivity and performance issues.
Work with network identity and access technologies, including Cisco Identity Services Engine.
Contribute to data center networking efforts, with exposure to technologies such as Cisco ACI and virtualized networking platforms.
Assist with network monitoring and operational tooling, including platforms used for visibility, alerting, and performance analysis.
Support one-off and non-standard engineering requests, applying strong troubleshooting and analytical skills to resolve complex issues.
Act as a technical leader and escalation point, helping guide junior engineers and contractors and improving overall team effectiveness.
Required Qualifications
Strong hands-on experience in enterprise routing and switching environments.
Proven experience working with Cisco networking technologies, including routing, switching, wireless, and identity services.
Ability to work independently and contribute at a senior or lead engineer level, providing direction rather than relying on others for guidance.
Experience supporting both project-based work and ongoing operational network needs.
Preferred Qualifications
CCNP certification or equivalent experience required; CCIE-level expertise or capability strongly preferred.
Experience with Cisco ACI and modern data center networking architectures.
Familiarity with legacy and evolving data center environments, including virtualization and hybrid networking concepts.
