Responsibility of an WDFM Architect/Sr Consultant will include:

•              Architecture & Design: Lead the end-to-end Workday FM solution architecture:  Chart of Accounts design, Organizational hierarchy, Security model, and Workday tenant configuration strategy across sandbox and Production environments

•              Core FM Configuration Leadership: Own configuration of General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Banking & Cash Management, and Procurement modules — ensuring alignment to True Source Foods multi-entity financial structure.

•              Integration strategy : Technical discovery, feasibility assessment, and integration build oversight in alignment with the SOW phasing strategy

•              Add-On  Modules implementation oversight: Functional and Technical direction for implementing  Fixed Assets, Lease Accounting and Account Reconciliation

•              Medius Integration: Act as a technical liaison between medius and workday financial management for the workflows between both the systems.

•              Data migration: Govern the data migration and cutover strategy across environments and ensure data reconciliations.

•              Testing : Provide sign-off on unit testing, integration testing, parallel GL runs in WDFM and Legacy systems.

•              Stakeholder Engagement: Present architectural decisions to TrueSource Foods Finance leadership, IT Lead, and Executive Sponsor; facilitate design workshops

•              Team Leadership: Provide technical mentorship and delivery oversight to the FM Consultant, Integration Developer, BA, QA Lead, and Data Migration Lead

 

Required Qualification:

•              Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred

•              Workday Certification: Active Workday Financial Management certification required; Workday Integration certification strongly preferred

•              Experience: Minimum 10+ years of enterprise ERP consulting experience; 6+ years as a Workday FM Solution Architect or Senior Consultant on full-cycle implementations

•              Full-Cycle Implementations: Minimum 3 completed Workday FM end-to-end implementations as Architect or lead configuration resource.

•              Tenant Management: Experienced in standing up Core Workday Financial Management tenant and ensure the readiness before configuration.

•              Add-On Modules: Hands-on configuration experience with Workday Lease Accounting, Fixed Assets, Close & Consolidation Hub, Account Reconciliation

•              Integrations: Demonstrated experience designing and enabling Workday integrations using Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and REST/SOAP APIs; experience with AP automation, banking, and T&E integration patterns

•              Legacy ERP Integration: Experience integrating Workday with legacy ERP platforms; familiarity with QuickBooks API or mid-market ERP integration patterns, an added advantage.

•              Data Migration: Experience leading financial data migration programmes including COA mapping, opening balance loads, and parallel reconciliation

•              Financial Accounting: Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS 16; practical understanding of period-end close, consolidation, lease accounting, and fixed asset accounting
